My name is Winter McNamer, and I am a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist based in Nanaimo. Originally from interior British Columbia, I pursued my training and certification in Victoria at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy.

Through over ten years of Tai Chi practice, I have experienced transformative relaxation and alignment within my body. This personal journey inspired my dedication to studying and practicing therapeutic bodywork.

I am a graduate of the RMT program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy and am a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of BC. My background spans a decade of experience working with Island Health. I’ve had the privilege of hands-on experience assisting individuals with diverse and unique health care requirements.

My education at WCCMT has equipped me with comprehensive knowledge in musculoskeletal deficiencies, systemic pathologies incorporating a wide range of techniques. I am well-prepared to assist with the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction, injuries, pain, soft tissue and joint disorders. I’m excited to have returned home to Nanaimo and am eager to launch my practice.

I have been a resident of Nanaimo since 2007 and I firmly believe that the exceptional lifestyle our beautiful island offers has made it a true home for me. On weekends you’ll often find me exploring the trails with my dog Boone or enjoying what the ocean has to offer.  ​

Originally from the interior of BC, she began her journey in Massage Therapy back in 2011, attending Sutherland Chan in Toronto Ontario, graduating in 2013. Shortly after completing her schooling, she returned to BC and has resided on Vancouver Island since.
